The HO!-Cup (season 40)

Even if the first 36 places in the queue are already filled up, you can continue subscribing. Maybe we'll add new groups or in the case someone can not participate, the team will be replaced by one from the replacement list. As soon as possible fixtures for the first week will be generated and only among the successfull challenges the 6 groups with 6 teams each will be build for week 2. Teams from lower class series (lower TSI-sum) will play 3 instead of only 2 matches at home if possible.

The group winners and the best 2nd-placed or even 3rd-placed teams of the overall ranking (max. 16 in total) will proceed into the knock-out stage, which has to be played with Cup-Rules and on neutral ground! There are 4 of these matches until the final on 21/22-Dec-09 takes place. You can choose the stadium as you like but take care of the neutrality rule.

Falls vorher schon alle 36 Plätze vergeben sind, könnt ihr euch trotzdem weiter eintragen, da erfahrungsgemäss immer Nachrücker gebraucht werden und ev. kurzfristig auch neue Gruppen aufgemacht werden können. Es werden so früh wie möglich schonmal Spielpaarungen für die erste Woche erstellt. Nur aus den erfolgreichen Begegnungen werden dann für Woche 2 die 6 Gruppen a 6 Mannschaften gebildet. Dabei erhalten die niederklassigen Vereine (niedrigere TSI-Summe) nach Möglichkeit 3 und die übrigen 2 Heimspiele.

Die Gruppensieger sowie die nach der Gesamtrangliste besten zweitplazierten oder gar drittplazierten Teams (insgesamt 16 Teams) spielen nach der Gruppenphase in 4 KO-Runden (Cup-Regeln auf neutralem Boden!) bis zum Finale am 21. oder 22. Dezember 2009. Die Begegnungstätte ist frei wählbar und die Teams sind selbst dafür verantwortlich, dass auf neutralem Boden gespielt wird.
